 It is a year since you passed away,

The time has gone so fast, it feels like yesterday.
Thirty years of being my best friend,
I am just so sorry it had to come to an end.


Our Heavenly Father said, “Come to me,”
But I will see you again, just you wait and see.
Until then, the memories will linger on,
I can smile now, even though you have gone.


Jesus Christ will be coming back once more,
A new heaven and earth, you will come walking through the door.
Perfection at last, no more sadness to know,
In God’s new Kingdom, spiritually we will grow.


So goodbye to you until that day,
When we will all be united, as the Bible does say.

A TRIBUTE TO SOLICITOR BRENDAN

  I met Brendan in his office on a cold winter day, A service user introduced us—I didn’t know what to say. Brendan’s voice was so calm, he had lots to declare About the unfairness of the system—it just was not fair. Brendan said that he was happy to take PAIN cases, he said yes with a smile, One of the best solicitors in the UK at the Family Court trial. The care proceedings wins began to grow, Case law flowing, Brendan’s face would glow. Brendan spoke on my video for the Daily Mail Inspirational Women of the Year— A finalist, oh what a cheer. Brendan would open his office at weekends and very late at night, Even on Easter Monday, he would still be there to get the skeleton arguments just right.
