 Somewhere in a celestial place, you will be looking down with a smile,

It will not be long until I see you again, maybe after a little while.


I still have your Christmas card and photo from the day we all said goodbye,
I will put them in a picture frame and remember you with a sigh.


I cannot hide memories and put them away in a drawer,
This is my way of remembering you until I see you once more.


The photo will be there standing high with pride,
In life you were a treasure, with love for all to abide.


I am glad at least I had the chance to say farewell,
That Saturday night when you phoned me at home.


Your memorial in the garden, the pansies fully grown,
Cannot wait for the day Heavenly Father’s plan comes to be known.

A TRIBUTE TO SOLICITOR BRENDAN

  I met Brendan in his office on a cold winter day, A service user introduced us—I didn’t know what to say. Brendan’s voice was so calm, he had lots to declare About the unfairness of the system—it just was not fair. Brendan said that he was happy to take PAIN cases, he said yes with a smile, One of the best solicitors in the UK at the Family Court trial. The care proceedings wins began to grow, Case law flowing, Brendan’s face would glow. Brendan spoke on my video for the Daily Mail Inspirational Women of the Year— A finalist, oh what a cheer. Brendan would open his office at weekends and very late at night, Even on Easter Monday, he would still be there to get the skeleton arguments just right.
