PAIN CONTINUED

Then came Sue with steady care,

From Parents Against Injustice there.
With guiding words and strength so true,
She stood beside us, saw us through.

And solicitor John A by our side,
Through family court we would not hide.
He fought for truth with measured art,
And helped restore a broken heart.

The tide then turned, the case stood still,
The truth emerged against their will.
They said the fracture could be by chance,
A different view began to advance.

Our son returned, the system fell,
Relief and tears we knew too well.
But six months on, what then was known,
A deeper truth was fully shown.

Osteogenesis imperfecta found,
Explaining every shattered bone and sound.
No harm we caused, no guilt to bear,
Just misunderstanding, not despair.

And now four decades still I stand,
Still helping others through this land.
For parents wrongly torn apart,
I speak for them with all my heart.
